About the Book
This book is a collection of editorial articles written by George in the monthly newsletters he published over a period of thirty years. Some are funny, some are inspirational, and some are nothing more than information about the activities that may have been going on at the time.
About the Author
Dr. George H. Davis served in the ministry in Central and Southern Illinois for more than fifty years as Pastor or Director of Missions. He began his ministry as he was attending Southern Baptist Theological Seminary at Second Little Prarie Baptist Church near Louisville, Illinois, and later pastored in Altamont - First Baptist, Herrin - Second Baptist, and Grayville - First Baptist. From Grayville he took the position of Director of Missions for the Mt. Erie Baptist Association which later became the Greater Wabash Associaton, and then moved to Champaign to be Director of Missions for the East Central Illinois Baptist Association. In retirement he served the Louisville Association as Interim Director of Missions. He has served as board member of the Radio and Television Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
