Jimmy enjoys going to school the way most people enjoy going to the dentist. Living in the shadow of two brilliant older brothers does not help his situation. His father would say, "Shawn he is graduating, top of his class. Stevie he made the Varsity this year. Jimmy, oh he's definitely a handful."
But with the help of Nicky, his girlfriend, he discovers his path. Baseball was always something that came naturally to Jimmy, and there always seemed to be something that stood in the way of him and his goal. His father, who's hero was Mickey Mantle, gave Jimmy the inspiration to achieve his dream.
To truly be something in this world you must first come to the understanding that you are worth it. Jimmy's struggle has made him who he is and who he is to become. A hero to his home town, but more importantly a hero to himself and his father.

About the Book
Jimmy has always felt under appreciated. The youngest son of Jonathan and Mary Morris, he seemed to always be the burden of the family.
Shawn and Stevie, his two older brothers had cast their shadow in which Jimmy could never escape. Always a step behind, known as "the other brother."
This is a journey one boy takes to find his reason, his meaning for existence. Although Jimmy was not gifted in the way his brothers were, follow him as he discovers the life in which God has chosen for him. Baseball, the one thing that never let him down.
If a man can dream, than there is nothing that he can not achieve.
About the Author
Ronnie Mieyal lives in Cleveland Ohio and is an avid sports fan. He is the youngest son of Jerome and Elaine. Ronnie, thanks to his parents, is a firm believer that if you put your mind to something, there is nothing that you can not achieve. Mom is the true reason. She would never give up on her youngest son. Always beside him through all his faults, she encouraged him through and through. Mom this is for you and Grandma Bednar. The only two who believed in this "drop out" Grandma told you I'd be something and with her faith and your faith, I am something. Thank you both. I love you.
Although strickened with a learning disability, he found his own way. Never give up and always stay focused. A dreamer, Ronnie lived by his rule, as told by James Dean, "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today."
