Anna and Nana are taking the train to the city for their traditional Christmas shopping day. Cousin Julie Anna is visiting her other grandparents and will be meeting up with Anna and Nana later. Julie Anna wants to be there when they pick out their new hats for their next adventure. No one will know what that will be until they find just the right hat. Anna loves the new tradition that has been taking place since she became part of the family........Anna and Nana go into a lot of stores. They are shopping for toys for the kids who are in foster care......Nana loves helping them; she says they are very special children and she loves them and wants them to be happy......Finally Anna finds a hat that she thinks is just the perfect hat. She goes all over the place looking for Nana and Julie Anna.........Anna thought, What a wonderful ending to a wonderful day. Only one thing could be better than this moment right now, but Anna knew her mom and dad couldn't be there with her. She knew this was the next best thing-- a terrific day sitting in the carriage, drinking hot chocolate, sitting under a warm blanket while watching the snow fall with her Nana and cousin Julie Anna. Life just couldn't get any better than this moment in time. Well at least not until the next adventure......will there be another adventure or will Anna just have to dream about it?

About the Book
Anna's Hats is about a little girl who lost her parents and has to learn to live with other people. Anna has a new family whom she has grown to love and she enjoys going on adventures with her Nana. Join Anna, Nana and cousin Julie Anna as they go shopping for a special group of kids in foster care. After buying lots of presents they go to the hat shop to find their new hat for their next adventure and to finish the day they go on their traditional carriage ride. Go on adventures with Anna as she has a hat for every adventure.
About the Author
Gloria is a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She has endured many hardships in her life when she was younger. One of which was growing up in foster homes. Gloria was taken away from her family when she was nine and had to learn to live with other people. She was moved around alot usually staying in each home about six months before moving on to another. Gloria knows what it is like to live without her parents and has had to look at life as mini adventures. Standing on her own salvation is the only way she made it through all the hardships. Gloria wants you to enjoy the lighter side of life. Watching as Anna lives with a new family and learns to love the family she is with.
