The author is a Mauritian woman of forty five, grand-daughter of Indian indentured labourers.
She is married with a teenage son and daughter.
She has worked in the textile and tourist industry before now working in Business Process Outsourcing field.
She enjoys gardening, reading and swimming in the blue lagoons and white beaches of her beloved Island Mauritius
