The celebration seemed endless.
After years of intense study, cram sessions, and anxious moments as final grades were geing determined by the professorial types, the hard work was behiind them. Let the party begin! No more foregoing the Greek parties. It was time to celebrate.
As the ten close friends began to imbibe, their thoughts turned to the future. They were oblivious to the georgeous sunshine and mid-70's temperature that finally signaled the arrival of the short summer season in Niagara Falls. The plume rose from the Falls for all the out of town tourists to see from as far away as the first bridge on Grand Island as they headed north from Buffalo. The snow squalls from Lake Erie had long vanished for another year and the ski resorts in the Southtowns area had long been closed. They would neither take notice of the well planned outdoor graduation ceremony not pay a lot of attention to the speaker of the day, former New York Senator Hillary Constantine. They simply wanted to get on with their celebration.
The key question was, of course, what would they do as adults after leaving the shroud of Pinacle University.
As they gathered in a private room in their local hangout, Marty's Mayhem Bar, Tom Jensen was the first to suggest that each one relate a little of their early background and what they foresaw in the future. Each would have to put up with the kibitzing from their buddies.

About the Book
During the last half of the twentieth century, the United States of America was a place where dreams were fulfilled, racial tensions were lessened and the world knew no other nation so powerful.
In 2015, however, after substantial slippage on all societal fronts in the US, ten young men left college for careers of their choice. They, like some before them, and many that followed, were major participants in the disintegration of the greatest nation in the history of the world.
One would become a US Congressman, ome an attorney specializing in environmental liability, another was simply a working stiff who sired ten offspring but never married, yet another would become a major hip-hop player, another ran his own international trade company, one was a major agent for the US Immigration Service, another a petroleum futures trader, one a journalist, one who owed and ran a retail gun shop, and finally, one a minister.
We watch their self-serving decisions and are astounded at their failure to exhibit the first ounce of principles which made our country great. From their travels, actions and deeds of these few we come face to face with what was to be the downfall of America.
About the Author
Harrrison Hunt grew up in Delaware County, Indiana, during the 1950's. He was a high school athlete when athletics were the social center of every small school society.
Mr. Hunt is a graduate of Ball State University and holds a MBA degree from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. His professional life has included being a Vice President at the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Senior Vice President for the Buffalo News, a college professor, a consultant and an entrepreneur.
This is his second work, a novel, which was preceeded by Johnny Hoosier, Lessons Learned in the Heartland, a real life adventure.
After having resided in Indiana, Minnesota, New York and Florida, he now is semi-retired and lives near Dale Hollow Lake in Northern Tennessee.
