About the Book
Satisfied - That’s what Major Page felt about his life. He’d made it through his wife’s unfaithfulness, then the ensuing divorce. He’d found a new town and a new life. What more could he ask for?
Contented -
Unsatisfactory - that three careless words could get him into such a mess. His friends had meant well, but being on a charity date didn’t bode well for his commitment to remaining forever single.
Discontented - could not describe what she felt about the very idea of being mistaken for a willing participant to be set up for a date, even if it was for charity. But, life should be so simple.
Body Guard - now how could he have gotten himself into such a mess as to become Gabriella’s body guard, and how did she get herself into such a mess to need one? One day he’d learn to keep his mouth shut. She was looking good though, really good.
Self-sufficient - until, that is, a masked robber changed her life. Now, she had to rely upon the best looking man in town. His looks were quite satisfying, and that was unsatisfactory. Now, it was her heart that was in need of protection.
About the Author
As with my first and second books, Child of Sorrow and Track Records of the Heart, this story is set in
A deep love and devotion to my husband aspires me to write about love and romance. The wonderful relationship we have gives me the desire to share the precious and tender feelings that can grow between two people.
This is the final story involving the Page family. First there was Christopher, who helped Mystery cope with being sexually assaulted, then the fear of being stalked. In the next book, Lee falls in love with a jilted bride, and finally Major discovers love in an unlikely match and an unusual date. I hope you’ve enjoyed all three stories, and that the diversified writings have kept you entertained.
This is not my last book, so keep your eye out for Amber, who’s on the run from an abusive man and falls in love with a true gentleman, who gives her refuge and peace.
