LOVE WISH Look at the meadow; it's Verdant, Green, and Wild. It's spring, There's life, There's rain. Look at the meadow; it's Brown, Bare, and Dry. It's autumn, There's no life, There's no rain. O, my love, my sweet, my dream, How I wish our existing bond Would have no autumn, Only spring. THE POEMS OF MY POEM You were born in my heart And lived there for a while. What is a while? How long, how brief was that while? I saw your growth, Huge as the extent of my soul; I heard your songs in summers, I felt your warmth in the colds. But life is just a guest of nature That whenever it comes, it goes Like the birth and death of our love; So the melodies and lyrics of your songs Once again and again Become the poems of my poem. WHEN I LOST YOU When I lost you, The vacuum you left hurt. It hurt, not only a bit, But indescribable and bleeding; I moan in sacred places, I grieve in your yard. You are gone, But you continue to live in my senses. You run in my blood. The loud music and the drum beats Can not drive away the pain, Even for split-second of time. My road to oblivion is still far, It seems so stormy, thorny, and dark. I can not see the lights, Though they tell me they are bright; I can not hear their voices, Yet, they assure me they are wise. When I lost you, Half of me was also gone. It's taking me a while Gathering the pieces, building the spirits, Those and everything I lost When you were gone. GRIEVING Staring blankly to a wide extent, Looking for things that don't exist, How long in tense will the condition last, The mourner is helpless to change the plot. Thinking deeply of what to think, Feeling the feel that is so bleak, Crying hardly without the tears, Waiting for the time the heartaches cease. Grieving, so the wise and the experienced say, Is drowning in sorrow that dries the sea, While death is peace, and peace is glory, Lives left behind do breathe in agony.

Love is love no matter how long or short its sojourn in the life of a person, no matter how deep or shallow its degree, or no matter how wide or narrow the space it occupies in one's heart. Truly, love is love no matter how it is expressed in different passions: sharing, caring, giving, receiving, laughing, hurting, leaving, pleading, crying, forgiving, or even losing and getting it back again and again. Love never changes its effects and color - the happiness and contentment in the heart and soul of the beholder. THE RADIANCE OF YOUR SOUL: Love Poems and Passions (II) is a genuine expression of the feelings that have occurred or are presently occurring in the author's heart. Who can argue those feelings? Surely nobody can, except the creator himself of those beautiful and soul-guided verses which originated directly from the center of his heart. Many of the poems included in the book have been published in various magazines and school papers, as well as cited a number of times The Editor's Choice Award of the International Library of Poetry. The book exemplifies the unique and vicarious expression of the author's artistic interest and unique passion in poetic artistry. About the Author
GEORGE ERGO ESPINOSA earned his degrees of Doctor of Education (EDd) in California Coast University, Postgraduate Diploma in Diplomacy (PDD) in Oxford University, and Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) in the University of the East. He worked as Language Instructor in the University of the East, Cultural Officer in the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, Cultural Attache of the Philippines to Austria, and Filipino Language Instructor in the University of Vienna. At present, he is employed as Language Instructor in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). He is affiliated as Member in various state, national, and international organizations such as the United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA), California Federation of Teachers (CFT), National Educators Association (NEA), International Honors Society, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and as Poet Laureate in the International Society of Poets (ISP). Dr. Espinosa's educational achievements and awards include as Philippine Representative to the 1974 Ship for Southeast Asian Youth to Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines; United Nations Asian Pacific (ASPAC) Fellow to Japan and Korea, and Colombo Plan Scholar in the University of Oxford, United Kingdom (UK). THE RADIANCE OF YOUR SOUL: Love Poems and Passions (II) is Dr. Espinosa's second authored book on poetry.
