Don't Get It Twisted

Ashley… girl!  Oh my Goodness...who is that man walking down the aisle. God was displaying his finest work when he made this man.  He is so fine I told myself as I checked him out from head to toe.  He took my breath away.  Oh my goodness, I was in God’s house lusting after a man.  Stop it I told myself.  When this man walked into the pulpit and I finally realized he was the minister of the congregation, I began to repent asking God to forgive me for desiring his servant.  I was asking God not to blind my eyes or strike me down in his sanctuary. 

As I opened my eyes from repenting all I saw were big beautiful brown eyes looking into mine.  I realized the gaze in his eyes but why is he looking at me?  Did he hear me repenting?  Did he realize I was watching his every move?  Did he pick up my attraction?  Do I know him?   Does he know me?   

This tall attractive butter pecan man was staring at me.  His appearance was so regal and dapper.  His smile genuine and directed at me.   I could not help but have eye contact with him because it seemed that from the time I finished repenting he began looking in my direction.   This was not a stare of appreciation.  This was a stare of I know you and I have a connection with you and I am trying to figure it out.   It was a constant stare one of intrigue and captivation.  No matter what he said or preached, every time I looked up there it was -- eye-to-eye contact.   I thought for a moment that I was crazy.
