He pushed sharply with the gloved hand and the slight frame of bone began to fall backwards. Her arms flapped in midair in an attempt to regain balance, but Mavis was falling too quickly to recover. The eyes retained the astonished look and stayed fixed on Frank's piercing, deep set sockets. The slightest of yelps was ejected from her tiny mouth but only Frank heard it, her husband was merrily whistling the theme from his favourite TV cop show amongst Hayley's chosen tomato plants. Her back snapped swift and clean on the slightly curved stair edge and the momentum of her head continued backwards.

The "slow down" motion that Danny portrayed from his car window hit a nerve. It triggered Franks's memories of his mothers death for which he still felt guilt and so led to a festering vendetta, a way of shifting blame for the death of the only person he loved in his life.
His self taught photography skills that grew more and more warped with age became a useful weapon in his secret war against Danny and before long the whole family was being teased and tampered, without the slightest hint of knowledge.
The never ending string of bad luck caused cracks to deepen in their marriage and it wasn't long before Jane broke and chose to leave the relationship. Only the death of Danny's mother bought them back together, a death that appeared accidental to all those affected.
Danny's father, a retired police officer had provided a listening ear throughout the traumatic times and once alone, he chose to rekindle his investigative skills and soon clarified in his own mind that his son and his family were being hunted. He didn't involve the force, he didn't have the evidence, merely gut feel and coincidence. And he was right. He tracked down Frank and uncovered the truth about the mentally disturbed mind inside his head. Which led to confrontation.....
About the Author
David Wigmore was born in Southampton, England and is married to Paula. They have two daughters aged fourteen and thirteen, Emma and Holly.
David started writing several years ago and successfully wrote, directed and performed in a stage presentation entitled The Wizard of Oz-stralia, a spoof of the world famous film. Charlie and the children factory then followed.
The novel "Frank" is David's first literacy publication and he is now working hard at a second thriller. After several positive reviews in "Franks" infancy, David decided the time was right to go to print.
