About the Book
Joey Days is the story of Grammy's trip from New York to Florida to visit her grandson Joey. It tells of the fun they had going to a wildlife preserve, going to the park, and their time at the beach. It is a fun account of their time and adventures together.
About the Author
Constance Watkins is retired from the Unified Court System of New York State. She is a writer and an artist skilled in watercolor, pastel, and photography. Her pastels and photography have won numerous awards. Her writings have been seen in both the Catholic Sun and Mohawk Valley Women, published in central New York.
There have also been numerous items in local newspapers. She is very active in her church and local art associations where she has held positions from secretary to contest judge. She has five grandchildren, who all know her as "Grammy." They greatly enjoy their visits to her upstate New York home where "the creek" is the main attraction. As an instructor she has also conducted classes in children's crafts at several different organizations in her area. Constance says she likes to write from her heart, about events and joys that she has experienced personally.
