In 2008, Carlin Laviolet, a professional Flight Attendant, founded Sky High Careers, a company geared toward Flight Attendant career coaching. After receiving several requests for help from people wanting to get into the airline industry, and in particular, the competitive job of a Flight Attendant, Carlin has put her valuable coaching advice to print in her book, Sky High Careers: Your Guide to Becoming a Flight Attendant.
Carlin has been involved in the airline industry her entire life and practically grew up on an airplane! She began her career as a Flight Attendant in 1997 with Delta Airlines, where she enjoys a fulfilling job of adventure still today. She has been based in Atlanta, Boston, Salt Lake City, New Orleans, and New York City.
She has held both domestic and international Flight Leader positions and regularly flies the International Purser position to destinations all over Europe, Africa, Middle East & South America.
Carlin graduated with a Bachelor of Science from McNeese State University in General Studies and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Commercial Aviation (MCA).
She attended the Presidio of Monterey Defense Language Institute for Serbian/Croatian Languages and served in both Air Force and Army Military Intelligence capacities.
Carlin splits her time between Utah and England and has one son, Zane.
