Awakening

 There is a lot of talk about the word awakening over the last few years. What is an awakening?  I believe along with a lot of others, it’s that moment that you begin to see our world differently. You not only see it differently you begin thinking of it differently. You may believe it is something that has just come into your life, or you may realize you had something going on inside you for a long time and have now decided to let it flow, as I have. When you do let it flow openly with some care of course, it’s amazing what’s been going on all around you. You will be so excited and energized by your new found life that you will want to tell someone or share the experiences.

Well this is the hard part, as for me I have only spoken to very very close family and a friend.  They do want to be supportive but it’s hard to be supportive when they can’t see what you can. There are also  different views on the subject depending if their background is more religious, Native Indian, an Independent thinker or a believer. It’s also hard not to get offended at times, but I remind myself this is a gift or talent from God to me, and I won’t be ashamed of it or ignore it. When something like this does happen it almost doesn’t seem real. After I began allowing myself to awaken,  I would sometime think in

the middle of the day, I must be dreaming as things like this don’t really happen. The fact is, that they do.

Thank goodness the moment it all started again I kept a log, so that when I questioned myself about the reality of what was going on, I had all my notes in my face to keep me straight. So for me it’s not important whether people believe me or not. I know the facts, and why should I feel like a lesser person just because they haven’t experienced what I have yet, but yes in truth I do get my feelings hurt. As exciting as all this is I know that some people will think I’m a fruit loop, but I know their wrong and just try to take it with a sense of humor.
