He lay on his back and stared into space.
He wriggled his bum and pulled a face.
He gave a long yaaaawn and stretched out his paws.
Then rose to his feet and went indoors.
Once in the kitchen it was plain to see,
All sorts of mischief. He giggled with glee......

About the Book
Archie Parchie gets up to all sorts of mischief one day when he is very bored. Fun illustrations and rhymes follow his antics and introduce young readers to a love of language, picture books and poetry.
The real Archie Parchie lives in the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, with his pet humans, including Georgina, (the author), and his Jack Russell sister, Zebedee. Zebedee also has a storybook written about her called, The Tales of Zebedy-Do-Dah.
About the Author
Georgina was born in 1960 and has done many odd things, such as trek through India and Nepal wearing purple trousers and a woolly hat, sleep on the decks of many Greek boats and clean hundreds of toilets. Over the years she has written a number of stories and articles for children and adults. She is currently writing a novel.
