What seemed unclean, but really is pure
While though for me there’ll be no cure
For scars so deep, I’ve lived somehow

About the Book
This book is a compilation of over a decade of poetry. The "dark" sense of each poem defies traditional expectations of modern poetry, and ventures off to a more complex side of human nature.
About the Author
Daphne is a Portland native and has spent the majority of her life in Oregon. She has spent the last eight years studying comparative religion, reiki and eastern philosophy, and has a BA from Linfield College in Arts and Humanities, and in addition to writing poetry, she also writes short stories and stage plays. Her hobbies include karaoke, dancing, theatre and herbal studies, and she also has a certificate in Herbal Health. When she’s not writing, Daphne works with Hospice patients and is an advocate for senior citezens and people with disabilities. She is currently still living in Portland with her Partner of several years, and working on her next book.
