About the Book

Leona is a rich 19 year old Creole beauty from Louisiana who's attending college at the University of New York. She is used to getting anything she wants no matter the cost. Especially from her wealthy grandfather Dr. Peru who is the apple of her eye. He promises her half of her 30 million dollar inheritance on her 19th birthday. But Leona's world is turned upside down when her mother drops a bomb on her. She tells Leona that she will not be able to get her inheritance money until she finishes college and insists that Leona get a job to try and teach her some responsibility. Leona is devastated by the news and dreads working a 9 to 5. Her best friend Meriah introduces her to a female pimp named Pepper who steals Leona's trust and turns her into a lying and deceitful moneymaking diva. Can Leona trust her or will she have to fight for everything she worked so hard for?
