About the Book

"Though I cannot recall everything, I can testify that I remember every single moment.  Everything and nothing sway in a perfect balance in our own minds to form a cyclone of memories that can compare to the greatest human stories ever told.  It happened here in small mid-western cities, under warm fraternal nights, and cold lonely evenings.  Be it the true friendship we all had or the many beverages that fueled those short years, we were there.  Standing on decks of small apartment complexes or sitting by fires in rural suburbia, we formed the foundation of the beginnings of our lives.  Branding each other with fires so realistically warm, you could feel it on your forearm.  Breaking bread and bottle together, we wastefully made something and nothing of ourselves."

About the Author

Chas D. Culp was born in Vincennes Indiana and was the youngest of three boys. He grew up engaging his family with his constant jokes and stories. Chas learned at an early age that he had a gift for entertainment. His charm and quick wit got him into a lot of trouble, but also forced him to think indepently. He used writing as an outlet, helping him calm his frustrations and soften his sharp toungue. He spent many nights in bed, writing beneath the glow of a flashlight, a hobbie unknown to the rest of his family. Chas often tested the authorities that raised him, and questioned everything, often being told by his close friends that he was “to deep to socialize”. Love and determination inspired a lot of his writitings, giving hope to himself, and those in search of it. Chas is currently a twenty-four year old poet, traveling from state to state, looking for peace of mind. You may have crossed a path with him, and not have even known it.
