OUR PERSONAL THOUGHT PATTERNS AND OUR SPIRITUAL CAPACITY TO DEVELOP OUR SOUL

The soul is eternal as it solely consists of energy, and the body is perishable as it consists of matter subject to decay. Our personal thought patterns exist both within and outside us and can outlive us, both through repetition by others (hearsay) and in the form of energy (remains in the universe). Thus, energy flows or joins with thought and in this way makes evident how affirmations can help us bring about changes on a psychological level. We can talk directly to ourselves or to others through our thoughts and fill our own psyche and that of others with any amount of energy. We can encourage, downgrade, analyze, become famous or discard our psyche – wholly through our mental outlook. Inversely, it can be said that a given thought’s energy joins or flows with energy that corresponds with its own energy level, and likewise, that it is attracted to a soul, or souls, with equivalent energy. When we change our thought patterns to accord with the soul’s wishes, we thereby improve their energy and can strengthen our own soul’s energy. If we have access to energy that we haven’t created ourselves through our psyche, but can use it on a personal level to affect ourselves, then we know in our heart that this energy is our own unique soul’s energy. We know this because the energy is both within and outside of us and it never fails to support the innermost desires in our heart. If we create thought patterns that stand in conflict with our own soul’s energy, we thereby hinder our own spiritual development. When we hinder ourselves we feel we are being particularly opposed and alone, powerless and despondent.  Nothing goes “our way” – not even us. Our thought patterns are most often steered by how we fell emotionally, and not by what our higher-I thinks these patterns should be. Some people hold to the perception that some feelings and thoughts are of no use to their personal development and desperately attempt to alter the I’s way of functioning by talking themselves into the reasonable and right. Have you, the reader, ever tested this remedy and actually succeeded in talking yourself into adopting the right and reasonable in a difficult situation? Then you know that talking yourself into being reasonable can seem a totally hopeless method when it comes to those extra pounds, better-then-thou colleagues at work, or bawling, whining little children who categorically refuse to sleep. But what are we to do if nothing can be gained by attempting to talk ourselves into being reasonable?  Naturally, we must simply entice our psyche by presenting our new thoughts in a way that is pleasingly compatible to it, to wit:  You who are so wise, pleasant, diplomatic, and physically well-formed (the psyche loves praise and is put in a good mood when its offered) can carry out a new method in such situations (the psyche feels capable and skilled). Spiritual development is completely dependent on our ability to differentiate the psyche and the soul; so that we can see that the psyche, as above, is fickle while the soul is eternal. When these then fuse and work together, the result is a flexible energy that benefits the entire universe.
