About the Author

Alex Strong was born in Missouri and grew up on her family's farm. From a young age, she was enthralled with literature and writing. The Heartache Holders is her first novel, written at the age of 25. Much like Alex, who is the main character of this book, Alex Strong has suffered through extraordinarily painful childhood and adolescent events. She writes from an understanding of torment that no person should have to endure. Despite her past, Alex Strong has persevered and prevailed and is currently in medical school in Missouri. She plans to pursue a career as a physician and author, both childhood dreams of hers. She invites you on this journey of heartache, healing, and hope.
