One day they were reading a comic book together in Nicholas's bedroom. Dylan suddenly got stiff and fell to the ground. His eyes started to roll and his body started to shake. After several tests it's determined that Dylan has epilepsy, Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. This type of epilepsy you usually do not grow out of. Several attmepts at different medication don't work. Dylan suffers several side effects. The family suffers several set backs but rally together to remain positive. With the love and support of his family and friends Dylan learns that giving up is not an option.

About the Book
Through His Eyes is a story about a families love and support. 8-year-old Dylan has a seizure while reading a comic book with his older brother Nicholas. After several tests he finds out that, he has a certain type of Epilepsy that he will not outgrow. Dylan and his family have to learn how to adjust living with his seizures on a daily basis until they become controlled. Through His Eyes talks about the different emotions, that Dylan goes through as we try to find the right medication to help control the seizures. Through the continuous love and support of his family, Dylan learns there is nothing that can hold him back.

About the Author
Lisa Loiodice is an author from Woodstock, Georgia. She is a housewife and a mother of two boys, Nicholas and Dylan. She is a former educator who worked in special education. The idea of "Through His Eyes" came from her own experience. Lisa decided to put into words her own sons story with epilepsy, and how it changed the entire family. "Through His Eyes" is told through the eyes of her older son, Nicholas. She hopes that this book will help educate many people. "Through His Eyes" is a sincere story about a family facing the challenges of Epilepsy. Lisa dedicates this book to her two angels Lucy and Hector,her mom and dad.
