Lasting Impressions

About the Book
Poetry is the oldest form of literature known to mankind. Its shape, form and thoughts have expressed a man’s life, philosophy and experience clearer than the man himself. It reaches beyond the physical expression and takes the reader into the spiritual depths of the poet.
My poetry has the uniqueness of life, experience and above all living. After spending nearly forty years teaching and coaching, life has given many opportunities to view the world, people, animals, space – abstract and concrete – real and surreal. My collection of poems express these views – some with clarity, some with a reach to the farthest depths of the mind; but greater than anything else, they are reality to the fullest – leaving the impression for a life.
The people in the poems are people that crossed my daily walk through life. Each of them created images influencing my thinking, and creating challenges and feelings during this walk.
