About the Author

Jerrod Libonati is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a member of the world’s largest organization of nutrition professionals, the American Dietetic Association (ADA). His graduate work in the nutrition sciences was completed at Florida State University and his dietetic credentialing through California State University, Long Beach. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California where he specializes in treating overweight and obesity related diseases, such as insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, type II diabetes, high blood pressure, and abnormal cholesterol and triglyceride states. Other interests include child and adolescent meal planning, restaurant menu and design consulting, and corporate nutrition programs. He can be reached at jerrod@foodstrategies.info
