Blessed is His name
In faith He came
Knowing He would die
Not listening to satan's lie
Boldly did He go
To let the world know
Stories of a Father's love
Brought down from above
A Son walked town to town
Healing the sick bringing evil down
Blessed is His name
In faith He came
This age has passed stories down
Now we walk town to town
Faithfully do we go
To let the world know
How a Son died
When satan lied
We tell them so they'll know
that on the third day
To heaven He did go

About the Book
These poems were written under the unction of the Holy Spirit and they are intended to honor God. There are poems about finding Christ, losing and refinding faith, taking a stand for Him, and acknowledging Jesus as Lord. There are poems to carry you through the hard times and poems to celebrate the good times. There are poems about choices we make and consequences of wrong choices. All of these poems line up with the word of God.
About the Author
There isn't much to say about me. I am just a simple Christian who never wrote a poem in her life until the day after I accepted Jesus. From that day to this the joy He has given me has inspired me to write. More than to write I have been inspired to preach the Word of God, to share the good news that Jesus is alive and well. This is my first book published. I am a licensed pastor in the American Baptist tradition. I have continued to write poetry as the Holy Spirit inspires me. I am grateful for the chance to follow where God leads. I hope that this book encourages and inspires the reader to follow Jesus and experience the joy of faith for themselves.
