About the Author
About the Author:
Betty Larosa has always loved history and has always loved to read. When she was still in high school, she concealed Gone With The Wind inside her textbooks so she could read it during class. “No wonder I had trouble passing geometry,” Larosa says.
West Virginia’s 1963 statehood centennial sparked an interest in the Civil War and, living in the state that was born out of that conflict, inspired her to research the subject further. It was then she felt motivated to write about the human wreckage left in the wake of that war. During her research, she visited the locations mentioned in her four-part family saga.
Larosa and her husband live in Bridgeport, West Virginia, where they pursue their various interests. She is kept busy these days promoting her books, as well as writing the fourth and final book in this family saga.
