"Sam was being carried through the labyrinth of tunnels that made up the vast underground tube system. It went on for miles, some of it in use and some of it not. Sam was really in agony with his ankle and deep cut to his hand, but he was more concerned as to what was to happen next. The creatures had been joined by others along the way. There were now at least twenty of them, some carrying stick-like weapons. Sam was taken to an area that had two or three dim lights above and he could now make out what they were wearing around their wrists and necks. Most of them had on at least one piece of very expensive jewellery. 'Where did they get those from?' thought Sam, still unaware that Sally was down in the station and walking right into the creatures' lair."

About the Author
Born in Wrexham, North Wales without a plan but as it sometimes does, destiny came calling. It put a pen in Mark Jones’ hand and many stories in his mind. Where these ideas came from is a mystery as big as why they were given to him, but he hopes others enjoy reading them as much as he enjoyed writing them. This is just the beginning….
