About the Author

Lisa J. Laird lives in Orange City, Iowa with her husband Alan.  Their children Matthew and Daniel were high school students during the time that Cliff the Goat lived at the Laird home.  Lisa has a degree in Elementary Education with teaching experience in preschool through second grade.  Lisa currently travels with her cast of puppet characters, 'Pockets Full of Fun' presenting programs that educate, encourage and entertain her audiences.  Her programs include ventriloquism, magic, stories, music and crafts.
