Heaven and Hell
The world is not heaven to me
I choose to believe it can't be
all the murder and strife
Everyday a child's life
is ending on land and at sea
heaven this truly can't be
Jesus Christ showed the way
to have a heavenly stay
it's up to you to choose
If you live for the flesh
as your spiritual best
then you say heaven is not real
This world will end soon
it's destined to meet it's doom
as it did during the time of Noah
I hope you get wise
open your spiritual eyes
and make a choice to see Christ glorified!
So Deeply
Jesus wants to love
you so deeply that you
can't possibly drown

A word of advice:
don't be the last one in line
to accept salvation
Welcome
Welcome to the outside
Welcome to the grave
You have been sent here all because
You were never saved
You denied the Son of God
Through the person of Jesus Christ
You made your decision
Not to accept His life
As a ransom for your sin
You never gave in
You thought you could win
This game all on your own
Now Christ sits on His throne
Sending you to hell
Welcome to the grave
You were never saved!

About the Book
Heavenly Verses is a collection of poetry created from an overwhelming desire to share the love of Jesus Christ with the world. It encompasses the forms of haiku, traditional, and freestyle verses. Most of all, it affirms the beliefs of Christians and inspires non-believers who question the free gift of salvation.
About the Author
Phillip L. Bell Jr. has been writing poetry for more than 20 years. In this span of time, he's been a believer in Christ Jesus for just as long. He's produced hundreds of poetic works. He was first published as early as junior high, and then later in college newspapers. Within the past 10 years, he's been accepted into 3 poetry journals, and received a lot of inspiring feedback that affirms the gift he feels compelled to share with the world. He currently resides in Carson, California with his wife Lameka and their two children Kearstin and Nicolas.
