About the Book

I have learned many lessons through studying the women of the Bible and the issues which they experienced.  Their stories have inspired me to "go on" in spite of the curves life has thrown my way.  It is my hope that every reader of Women With Issues will grasp that message and decide to press through as did our heroine from Mark 5. Negative situations such as divorce, abuse or bad breaks can be one's demise. It is my belief, however, that Jesus is still passing by, ready to assist the desperate soul who has tried everything, but has only gotten worse. He does not mind being your last resort. He is just waiting for you to reach out and touch Him in faith. Jesus is your answer regardless of your issue. Lean upon Him as I have and you will find restoration, healing and victory over any issue, great or small.

"Many times I have jokingly said to Ann Rogers, "You could write a book". She has written three others which I cherish, but Women with Issues is an expression of her inner self, her life and her triumphs, which my family and I have been a part of for over twenty-five years. Ann is transparent and steadfast in her commitments and standards and she lives her message for all to see. This book will inspire all who read it to cope, persevere and conquer any issue".

About the Author

Ann Rogers was born to Charles and Everlean Tollar on July 19, 1947, on a small cotton farm in Eudora, Arkansas, where her parents were share croppers.  In 1953, her father’s illness forced him to give up cotton farming and move the family to south Florida to a better climate.  There, the entire family started going to a Pentecostal church.   Her childhood and upbringing centered around church after Ann’s  Dad was saved,  baptized and miraculously healed  in 1955. Revival meetings, tent crusades and Bible studies were a way of life for the Tollar family from that moment on. At age eleven,  Ann was stricken with, what was later diagnosed, as  a form of epilepsy, and she was healed in 1964 after prayer in a crusade held by Evangelist A. A. Allen in Chicago, Illinois.  Ann began singing gospel music when she was eight years old. After her conversion and total surrender to God, in 1969, she became a Bible teacher and studied the Word of God with dedicated interest, completing several Bible correspondence courses. In 1980, Ann married Ernest Rogers and together, they established The Voice of Triumph, Inc., a non profit evangelistic ministry.  Their travels have taken them to fourteen states here at home and to eleven  foreign countries. At present, Ann continues to travel and preach revival crusades here in the states, and  God is using her in mission work in Jamaica and Trinidad.   In 2000, the Rogers built a retreat facility in Blacksburg, South Carolina,  and moved there to live, where they have also founded a church.  Ann serves as assistant pastor with Ernest.  She has written three other books and has recorded eight albums of songs available on cassette or CD. Her greatest desire continues to be that her ministry will reach the lost with the message of salvation, and inspire the saints to endure until the end.
