I see a very big house at the end of a long tree lined driveway, it reminds me of something out of a fairy tale, there is a blanket of brightly coloured flowers leading up to the house. As i stand there taking in the sweet smell of roses, i hear the most soothing tune. I look up and see a large white bird perched on the edge of a branch, it flaps it's wings, and flies gracefully off towards the house.
I wonder where this driveway would take me, and i am intrigued to find out who lives in such a beautiful place. Then, i suddenly awake, staring up at my bedroom ceiling, and realising that it was just a dream. Or was it.?

Elizabeth is thirteen years old, and has been bought up by who she thought was her aunt and uncle, but something odd happened one day and changed Elizabeth's life forever. Along with her best friend Jem, they entered a magical place. Their journey began when Elizabeth met Merlin, a talking bird and Maisey a rabbit. Things are not always what they seem.
About the Author
I am 36 years old, and a mother of two daughters, i have always been interested in writing but have never followed it through, until now. I originally wrote down a short story to read to my children, as they love stories at bedtime. My children loved the story i had written so i decided to get it published, and here it is. I will certainly be writing another book in the near future.
