About the Book

My Deepest 50 Thoughts about Love is a collection of romantic/ love poems that span forty-three years. You will never find modern-day fixtures like phones or cars in any of these works. Since "Love was and is always great," the magical verses can actually fit within the sixteenth century. These poems are not mere words poured onto a page; they are literary art that define love.

About the Author

Larry C. McCormack was born in South Carolina in 1948; his life seemingly was destined to be one of tragedy and despair. But he rose above the bleak expectations of his doctors and educators. He received his grade school and college education from schools in South Carolina, doing so with much hardship, trials, and tribulations, failure was forever near.

Due to a car crash and near-death experience when he was a four-years-old, Larry is dyslexic, a fact that was discovered by the United States Army. However, attending classes that teach people to make adjustments with similar problems, he was able to attend college. His I.Q. was checked during some research on the causes and effects of dyslexia and his I.Q. was found to be remarkably high. His classification is an Insightful Linguist; he was able to attend college and do well within the work force. But more important, he writes poetry.

Larry started writing poetry in 1966 and had never shared this fact with anyone. He uses poetry to create his own world, a more perfect world. He has written over six hundred poems of differing types, with romantic and love poetry being his favorite. He realizes that the car crash that almost took his life and causing dyslexia is the reason for being able to write intriguing poetry that will have differing meanings to different people and will also contain several subliminal thoughts in most of his work. He uses some words that are considered ye ole or old English and many words that most people rarely see and have probably never used. His work could easily fit into the 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, or the present century; love was and is always great. But the motivating elements for his poetry creation can be as simple as birds singing, or as difficult as remembering the stories from his Viet Nam comrades, stories of loved ones and special accompanying stories.
