About the Author
W. J. Archer (William James) always had a passion for writing and story-telling as a way of appeasing his creative spirit. Yet it wasn’t until he embarked on a year long, round-the-world trip that he was galvanized into putting this enthusiasm into action. Armed with a pencil and a note pad, he took inspiration and ideas from some of the many exotic destinations he visited, founding the basis of many short stories and ideas for future books.
Upon his return to the UK, he became motivated to expand upon some of these short stories and the product was his first novel; The Wolves of Wickerby Wood, a fantasy story that follows the courageous journey of a young girl trying to rescue her grandfather from a grim fate.
