About the Book

The purpose of this book is to help others obtain freedom from debt and begin the path towards financial wealth.  Anyone can accomplish a net worth of one million dollars regardless of their current financial circumstances, race, gender, education, background or even upbringing.  “Chicano Millionaires” shows the path of several self made millionaires and gives examples of how anyone can become a millionaire.  The first step is to find out your existing net worth (point A), and then ask yourself what you would like your net worth to be (point B), one million, ten million, or fifty million.  Once you figure out point A and point B then you must change your belief system and develop a plan to get to your point B. 

            This is not a Get Rich Quick book-obtaining financial prosperity requires tremendous planning, dedication, and lots of hard work.  If you are looking for a few fundamental tools to help you start a business and make your first million then reading this book will be a fantastic start.  This book will show you ways to achieve financial wealth but it will not do the work for you, nor will it put you into the game.  Becoming a millionaire is simply a game and if you are willing to take risk and put yourself into this financial game then your chances of reaching your point B will be a slam dunk.  

About the Author

Onesimo C. Vigil is your ordinary everyday person.  He grew up in a small city Santa Fe, NM and was raised by two extraordinary hard working, middle-class parents.  His childhood consisted of an array of athletic endeavors, including football, basketball, baseball, and golf.  In 1992 Onesimo was named the athlete of the year for his High School.  He later received a full scholarship to the University of New Mexico where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.  After graduation Onesimo took a job in Santa Fe and moved back to live at home with his parents.  At this point in his life Onesimo was a single dad with two beautiful children.  Not the life he had expected but knew something better was in his future. 

            In 1998 he was laid off from work and decided to move to Albuquerque, NM to start a new life in a bigger city with more opportunity.  In 2000 he decided to go back to school and pursue a Masters degree in Business.  In 2002 Onesimo graduated from the University of Phoenix with an MBA in e-business.  Onesimo then applied to Dental School and was not accepted.  At this point in his life he was tired of practicing dental hygiene and developing serious pain in his right wrist.  This is when he decided to go into business for himself and start pursuing his own dreams.  Onesimo has never looked back and feels his denial into dental school was a blessing.  Onesimo owns several businesses and investments. His story and the stories of other self made millionaires for which he features in his book are truly amazing.  Today Onesimo is the author of a self help book, CEO of a home healthcare company, owner of an investment company and partner of a financial company.  Onesimo resides in Albuquerque, NM with his beautiful wife and three adorable children.  His aspirations are to help others who have grown up a similar life like his and to help influence others to be financially successful.  Onesimo hopes that his book will help inspire others to achieve great financial wealth.  Onesimo has two mottos for which he lives by: (1) Hard work and consistency = results.  (2)  Remember, tomorrow will always be better!
