My name is Pinky. I am in third grade, and I have BIG dreams! Sometimes I dream while I am asleep. I dream about eating ice cream or playing with my dog, Tank. Those are dreams that just happen. My BIG dreams are the ones I think about when I am awake. At school, my teacher, Mrs. Butterfield, lets me write about my BIG dreams. I use my special pencil with my name on it to write stories about my adventures.

About the Author
Sara Marchessault, MS, CC, is a teacher and life coach who works with young women, empowering them to pursue their dreams. She created the character, Pinky, to send the message to children to dream big and be open to differences between people. Sara has taught individuals and groups of all ages, from kindergarten classrooms to adults in corporate training, and offers coaching services to women and girls. Sara currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida with her husband and daughter and continues to write Pinky stories.
