About the Book

A Book of Make Believe is made up 28 stories, ranging from mystery, space, and Thankgiving, mixed with facts about the author.

 

“The Mess Up On Thanksgiving” takes place at Daniel's Grandma's and Grandpa's house. Daniel had a sister name Betty Jean, but he never got a chance to meet her. So he created her in his story and other books that he has written.

 

In “My Long Lost Daughter,” Daniel meets a friend at a massage parlor. As he talks with her, he begins to recognize her. She is his long lost daughter.


About the Author

Daniel Fancher was born December 7, 1958 at Basset Hospital, in Cooperstown, New York. He grew up in Oneonta.

 

He begin writing in grade school. At first it was writing assignments, but  grew as he started writing. He was quiet growing up. He had lots of feelings inside, so when he was in eigth grade, he begin to write poetry. His first poem was for his first crush on a girl. Examples of his poetry are found in the last story of A Book of Make Believe, as well as at poetry.com.
