About the Book

Enzo Bertini, is a retired Sicilian professional assassin employed as a security analyst in Rome, Italy.  That is, retired until he is offered a lucrative contract by a most unlikely person to eliminate a prominent world leader.

The offer is a stroke of good fortune for Enzo.  It enables him to begin the pursuit of his longtime goal of opening a chain of martial arts studios throughout the world.  He decides to kill two birds with one stone by opening his first studio in Manhattan, the location where the contract is to be executed.

It is there that our second protagonist, Dominick Davis, a marine veteran, enters the scene.  He is a CPA employed by a medium size accounting firm that assigns him the task of setting up an accounting system for Enzo’s studio.

Working together and learning that they have a similar passion for the martial arts, Enzo and Dominick soon become close friends.  As the friendship grows, coincidentally, they learn that they are both being betrayed by persons they believe to be their benefactors.

Together, they assist each other in dealing with the betrayals. In doing so, little do they realize that their efforts will lead them to a most unbelievable and evil plot……one that involves art forgeries, nuclear destruction, and the demise of a centuries-old organization that provides leadership to millions of followers throughout the world.
