About the Book
The International Journal of Social Entrepreneurship (IJSE) is a refereed international journal that is supported by the Center for Social Entrepreneurship. IJSE publishes articles and reports related to all aspects of social entrepreneurship/ entrepreneurship theories and practices. For example, it reports on entrepreneurial opportunities for the disabled and the poor, funding social entrepreneur venture , health, medical, & bioethics issues, human rights & social services issues, poverty alleviation strategies, globalization and development, micro financing, women and minority entrepreneurs and more.
Furthermore, the journal will disseminate this knowledge to researchers, practitioners, academicians, and educators all over the world on a timely basis through its web site. The journal encourages manuscript submissions from authors all over the world, both from academia and practitioners. In addition, the journal will also include educational cases and reviews of Books that have bearing on social entrepreneurship and global perspectives. Practitioner input will be specifically solicited from time to time in the form of executive interviews.
About the Author
Dr. John O. Okpara is an associate professor of management in the College of Business at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in Strategic Management, Human Resources Management, and International Management. A widely published scholar, his contributions have appeared in many of the leading management journals and proceedings of major national and international conferences. His research interest is in cross-cultural management, strategic management, international human resource management, international business/export development, poverty alleviation strategies, and business ethics.
