Then there was pounding on the rickety barn door.

Never heard anything like that before.

With wolves banging on that rickety door.

You will wonder what’s in- store.

Remember these are the little animal we adore.

About the Author

I was born December 11, 1927 as Dovie Lavinia Chapman. Married November 27, 1948 to Frank Andrew Pilney.

     I have been attending Tarrant County College in North Richland Hills, Texas taking the Senior Education Classes which includes creative writing and water aerobics. I have been taking Creative Writing for the past five years and water aerobics for twenty years and have enjoyed every minute of it.

     This is another very special adventure in it’s own unique way. The art work is superb and captures the 1930’s perfectly. In this story there is a 1929 Model A Ford car and a 1925 pickup truck. I remember my father driving one just like the one in this book. As a child, I would stand right behind him just to watch him shift gears over and over again.  I can still remember what that car looked like inside and out. I took some of my most precious memories and put them in this book.

     As is in the first book I wanted another book that contained interesting original created for my equally creative story. Hope you will enjoy this book as much as I have writing it for you.
