About the Author
Jacque Huiner is an award winning artist who grew up on a farm in rural South Dakota. Jacque’s favorite childhood activities, besides playing outside, were to draw pictures and create stories. Jacque was inspired to write her first children’s book after she saw her young daughter play with her food and taste everything she could. Jacque graduated from South Dakota State University in 2002 with an art education degree and has since devoted her teaching career to enhancing the quality of art education in the K-12 Arlington School District. Jacque resides in Arlington, South Dakota with her husband, their two children, and their Welsh Corgi.
