The Hungry Bunny
Oh gosh my days are so dark and long
With veggies all day it’s all just so wrong.
The rubbish you feed me just brings me to tears
I’ve got lettuce bad breath and carrot shaped ears!
You throw me your salad; well just take it back.
I want to go to McDonalds for a juicy Big Mac!
Lettuce that’s old and green tomatoes oh please.
How about some cookies and a nice piece of cheese!
I nibble on cucumber no thicker than a rake.
But dream about ice cream on a large piece of steak!
You clap as I bounce round and cheer me for more.
When I’m actually bouncing ‘cos my bottom’s so sore!
My diet is so mushy from all that you send.
And soon it flies out from my rabbit tailed end!
You say I’m so cute and oh just so funny.
But give me some good food ‘cos I’m one hungry bunny!

About the Book
"Life with the Funimals" is a fun book of animal poems for children and adults! The book contains 22 poems, each about a different animal and their strange and wonderful characters. Among the many animals, there is a rat that loves Hip-Hop, a crocodile that really needs a dentist, an octopus that loves cooking and a giraffe that is skilled at soccer.
Each poem is wonderfully illustrated and the book is a great way for kids to learn the rhythm of poetry in a fun and educational way.

About the Author
Andrew Hunt is an EFL teacher who enjoys reading, playing sports and writing silly poems from time to time. After 11 years teaching English in South East Asia, Andrew realized that the many children he had taught all seemed to be passionate about four things; fun, singing, acting and animals! He decided to combine the joys of all four things within his book!
Andrew now lives in the USA with his amazing wife who is studying for her master's degree and helping him develop his skills as a house husband! 'Life with the Funimals' is his first book but he hopes not his last! He is currently working on a book about the animals on Noah's Ark and, of course, writing silly poems. He realizes that he probably needs to get himself a proper hobby!
