About the Author

AUTHOR:  Marjorie Cox Gray, since childhood has always been known as visionary and caring.  She spent most of her life in Charlotte, North Carolina moving to the Florida Panhandle (Bluewater Bay-Niceville) in 1996,  following her husband’s death.

In each of her home areas, and in Houston, the author was an active community leader as she felt strongly one should give back to their community.  Marjorie, despite being a woman of the late 1920’s was able to wear many hats professionally – nursing, teaching, administrative positions, developing new concepts, writing, sought after motivational speaker and retired as a Senior Communications Specialist with Exxon Company, U.S.A –Hdq/Houston, with 31 years of service.

She loved telling her son, Buck, stories….several became this book – “Bucky’s Adventures”.

ILLUSTRATOR:  Marlin Griffin’s artistic flair spans from still photography, to painting, but he enjoys pencil drawing the most.  Throughout the years Marlin has served as a combat cameraman, owned several advertising agencies and has traveled most of the world documenting his travels with his talent.  His published works includes Life Magazine and National Geographic.  Marlin resides in Bluewater Bay – Niceville, Florida.

His talented works can be found in many homes and galleries and when presented in art shows are often voted to be the favorite of those attending.  Marlin has a passion for fantasy drawings.
