About the Book
The purpose of this book is to help others who are going through the same situation as I am, get up even stronger. I want to reveal how I got through my hardest times and overcame my obstacles. Hence, revealing to others what principles I followed, what books I read, and programs I watched that gave me hope. I wanted to show others how to keep going forward in life. In the past, I might have been negative and bitter towards life. Now that I have God in my life, I see things in a totally different perception. It is all thanks Joel Osteen’s books and The Secret. I have learned that no matter what happens in life, we have to keep going. You have to keep having goals and dreams. I hope to encourage people to do better also.

Liza Janette Peña, whose stage name is Lyzza J. Peña, was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. Since she 3 years old, she wanted to be an actress. At the age of 4, she started doing school plays. At the age of 5, she started competing in Spanish poetry. She received her graduate M.P.A. (Master of Public Administration) degree from Texas A&M International University. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and the National Scholars Honor Society. She holds her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Communications from T.A.M.I.U., where she was a member of the Dean’s List. She attended the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in West Hollywood, California. She published her first book, “The Girl Inside.” She is a former J.B. Alexander High School Magnet for Health and Sciences graduate, where she was in the following: band, color guard, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Courtesy Service Club, Student Council, Health Occupation Students of America (H.O.S.A), U.I.L., and graduated under the Distinguished Achievement Program (D.A.P). She is currently represented by Condra/Artista Talent Agency in San Antonio, Texas.
