Deefa

      As Deefa started to move on, he crumbled onto the sand and began to whine. His friends rushed to him, Owdash laid by him and he rubbed his head into her body for comfort.

    “What’s wrong?” asked the vixen very concerned.

    “Things in my head, I can feel her pain, her sadness, but now pictures……… I can’t explain it……….. I feel so dizzy, my head is spinning,” whimpered Deefa.
      The vixen placed her hands on top of his head, closing her eyes, she concentrated all her thoughts on him.“You are sharing her visions,” she explained “The lightning has sent Vicky back into the past, she is confused with all the events mixed together. Different souls have entered her body, they are looking for peace.”

      Suddenly Vixen quickly withdrew her hands off Deefa’s head, her eyes widened in disgust, her body shuddered and her hands began to tremble as she raised them to cover her open mouth, she gasped.
      “Oh my, how dreadful!” her face paled as she stepped back and looked around in shock, “This part of the beach many, many years ago, the local people….…….”

      She laid her hands back on Deefa and closed her eyes again, “Wreckers they called them…..they would cause the ships to come up and smash on the shore and fires would be lit on stormy nights……” she lowered her head as tears filled her eyes as she too felt and saw the horror on the beach.
     “Bad stormy weather, just like today…….. the shipwrecks are washed up on the sands, so the people could steal the cargo from the wrecks….. Many lives were lost and still haunt this area.”
