Nicci and Her Amazing Adventure

There's nothing bad beneath my Bed

I Know! because my Mummy said.

So every night I go to sleep

and never make a single peep.

When I wake and it's still dark,

I hear  the Owls' across the Park.

I see the lights that flash and flicker,

suddenly my Heart beats quicker.

For even though I have been told,

at night my room seems dark and cold.

So when I slip into my dreams,

nothing is quite the way it seems!

NICCI AND THE WISE OLD OWL

Nicci went to bed one night,

Cosy and warm and wrapped up tight.

As she drifted of to sleep,

She heard the faintest little cheep!

Nicci looked round and found that she,

Had come upon an old Oak Tree,

It was very large and very thick,

With bright green leaves and Acorns to pick.

As she stretched to pluck one off,

She heard a grumpy little cough.

Looking up she spied an Owl,

A tousled, grumpy, stuffy fowl.
