That night a strange light appeared above the tool bench and with a flash, a fairy appeared. The fairy looked at the tool bench admiring the workmanship and love that had gone in to making it.
She smiled stretched out her arm and touched the tool bench with her magic wand. It was at this very moment Terry the tool bench was born.
Slowly he opened his eyes and looked around he saw the fairy, the fairy smiled. “Hello” she said. The tool bench smiled back and said “hello” She saw he was very shy and a little scared. “Don’t be afraid I will not hurt you but I do have something very important to tell you,

About the Book
Terry is a magical tool bench made from the heart of a very wise and old oak Tree Which was blown down in a great storm.
Made with love by a carpenter who then sold Terry to his new owner.
Was then Brought to life by a fairy and promises always to do his very best.
Terry the tool bench then starts one of his many wonderful and exciting adventures.
About the Author
Terry the tool bench came about making up stories for my young son.
I went through a dark spell in my life during which time I found it difficult to sleep to keep my mind from thinking about what was going wrong I started to put down in writing the stories I had made up with my son. So During this time, I spent most of the night writing. The stories just came to me within two weeks I had twenty-four it seemed when I started to write, the stories just came to me sometimes so fast I found it hard to read what I had written.
The Illustrations were drawn By Colin O’Reilly an art student.
It took some time to get the drawing of Terry right but finally Terry came to life thanks to Colin.
Terry has many adventures in these stores and meets many new and exciting friends
