About the Book
This book is very personal and comes straight from the heart. It maybe hard for some to believe the stories told are true, but I assure you they are. My journey is one of a child and her mother who faced devastating tribulations and difficulties with all the emotions that accompany it. You may wonder how I emerged triumphant with a heart of love, joy, and forgiveness. The answer I have is the only one I know, it is not by psychoanalysis, or self-help books, but through the grace and power of God. I challenge everyone to take this journey, to indulge in every breath taking moment of intrigue and adventure. I believe after you have done so, your personal opinion will change because God will mend whatever doubt, heartache, fear, and suppressed need you have. I pray, you will see how God exhorts His grace, mercy, and love through those who chose to believe in Him. Finally, whatever struggle you face today, I want you to know tomorrow will be worthwhile because you will be able to face it with renewed hope.
About the Author
Gloria Jones Norris was born in Chicago, Illinois and currently lives in Indiana. She has an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human services from Bethel College in Indiana. She is involved in women's prison ministry, and is an active member of her local church. Her interests include writing, and singing. Her favorite quote is, "What is more powerful than words? The person behind the pen."
The life she lives for Christ is rich and rewarding because she is able to listen and share God's love and grace with everyone she meets. If she had the chance to live her life over again she would not change it for anything.
