Danielle the dolphin loves to swim. She is a mammal just like her friend Damion. Dolphins can grow to be between ten or twelve feel long. They swim in the water and they have a pointed nose or snout and lots of teeth..........Danielle the dolphin is very smart too. She has a very important job. She is a marine tour guide. She swims around the ocean and helps ships to get to shore safely. She goes under the water and looks for big rocks that the ships might run into or other boats that get too close to the rocks or each other. She even looks for things in the water that she knows might not belong there. She makes sure that people do no throw trash in and make the water dirty.

This book was designed to teach and also to entertain. Children will learn their ABC's. They will learn how and where animals live and all about their environments. It will also teach children, and adults, why animals are so different from each other and what makes each one unique. It is important that children learn that animals have feelings and personalities, too! One more note: this book makes a great collection of bedtime short stories.

As the middle child in a large family, Deborah Wanda grew up in the country. She has always loved animals and has had pets most of her life. In addition to illustrating and writing stories, her hobbies include gardening, painting, crafts and home remodeling. She has written more than 100 stories, and Wanda's Wittle Wunders is her first published book, with more to follow.
