The Castle Built for Me My heart is my castle Paradise of my own A home now free Built for me A life truly met for me Is this castle built for me The true me Is all you see Once buried deep beneath Hidden Difficult, even for me to believe A life of security Was truly met for me This castle built for me The house I call home Was built for me Safe and forever A place I will never have fear or doubt This castle built for me Constructed with love This castle was meant for me This home will never know The sorrows that once were To be alone This home built for me Sets me free To simply be A resident I always wanted to be Living Comfortable In this castle built for me This home I speak of Is not made of wood or bricks Material much more valuable to me Paradise only believers will see This castle you see Is my heart A home built for me The Unexpected Road I travel the road The unexpected one Unidentified Full of fear And very long For many years I traveled Looking for This secret path Now so clear Easily marked No more fear This road I found The unexpected one The travel has begun I take the road The unidentified one Travel to become At peace with one Writing my thoughts To free me As I travel this path Hoping To never come back Praying one day I will look for the day A voice will say In just a harmony way This is your path Please travel each day Find your way Travel this road Bring peace to someone Along their way For the path you know Now so clear No longer brings fear Will help you Bring peace To someone very near Show them this path And inspire them To travel The road The unexpected one Why Why do I hurt inside As I lie scared Feeling alone Looking for the reason For this illness God chose for me All I can do is ask why Searching for the reason For the pain inside There must be a reason Once again I ask Why did you choose this for me Help me look For answers For reasons For all this pain Bundled up on the inside All I can do is ask why Is there a reason I must ask Please help me As I seek Answers to this pain I find on the inside The why It is nothing But A test to me To search and find Me The why So many wonder but never find The pain Now I see so differently No longer angrily It was meant for me God will someday Explain it all to me No longer need to ask why It was my destiny For now I plan to live each day As if it was the last day

Life is just so interesting, it's like traveling down a road that has never been traveled….Some of the roads take you places you never want to visit again, just to leave unpleasant memories; but then you travel to places that are so unexpected and exciting you never want to leave….just want to stay forever. Often, roads you would have never thought in a million years you would be traveling. Sometimes those roads are the best roads to travel.
I’ve traveled one of those roads….. This road has been one of the best I have ever traveled. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to take this journey and travel on roads that would have never been explored to find peace and happiness within myself. Finding me has been a life changing experience.
So I say Thanks to myself for believing in myself to have the courage to take the journey of the unknown…….finding the unknown is nothing but unexplored serenity.
Now, I pass this on to you, and say thanks for allowing me to share some of my hurts, fears, and journey into a new life of peace and happiness. Always remember if you are unable to travel this journey that leads you to serenity, then allow others to comfort you as you find your way. Everyone has a castle built just for them; look, you will find it when you find yourself.
