About the Book

Outcast, maybe because of his startling and frightening talents, perhaps from fear of his piercing blood red eyes, Jack is constantly on the run from authorities, his past, and a higher authority that constantly seeks to bring him under their thumb. Soon his running comes to an end and he is met with the ultimate challenge to trust enough to care for fourteen others who look to him as their savior. In the end it is his decision: take care of himself because no one else will, or save the only friends he's ever had.

About the Author

Though Lee McClure seems young, this is one of the first of novels she has feverishly labored to get published.  Lee is originally from New Jersey; however, she makes the state of Arizona her current home and is serving time in the halls of academia, otherwise known as NAU, majoring in she’s-not-sure-what. She spends most of her time attempting to write and dealing with the stress of college life.
