                                 "Miles to go, before I Sleep"

I'll rest one day in the bosoms of this earth.

Turn back to man's original form becoming that dusty dirt.

Hating the sound of my heart beat, all the tumping on my ears.

Crying in the '85 summer heat, the beginning of my years.

Many things to teach and even more to learn as earth spin and twirl.

The devil's touch is just as sweet, when lusting of this world.

I've made mistakes of which I'm not proud to speak, longing to right my wrong.

Miles to go before i sleep, before i hear death's song.

Manhood is easy including the growth; just the walk is hard.

But that concept get lost between the lame and fake, can't tell the war-wound from scars.

I wish I could rest a little, than awake but that decision isn't up to me.

I didn't set the hairs on my head, put the blood in my vains, nor set my eyes to see.

So can I rest my father? Just a few. No! and No! is your loud repeat.

You have a lot of grounds to cover my soldier, miles and miles to go before you sleep.

Blood trickle through my fingers as I hold my open flesh, caused by those who hate to see me succeed.

If God allow me to be an example, then happy is how I bleed.

So even though it pours when it rains and burns when it's heat, miles to go before I sleep.

                            I have miles to go before I sleep...
