Operation Jake and Ali

About the Book

   Sometimes old high school friends get in touch after graduation - even if one is in Iraq.  After coming home, Jake is surprised to see how much Ali has changed - and why she has a baby in her arms, but no ring on her left hand.

   The Fourth of July celebration in Jake's home-town brings together a new beginning for him and Ali, but will it last - or is it even real?  Time will only tell - but will it be too late to say 'I love you'?

About the Author

Ruth Tegen started writing at the age of seven.  She couldn't write well, but developed a love for writing and soon turned it into a hobbie which later she wants to turn it into a career.  She has published this book as her first to get a taste of what it feels like to be a published author.  The money she makes from the book sales will go towards her college education.  She plans to attend the WITC Rice Lake campus in the fall of 2010 and enter the field of business management and marketing.  She wants to start a job in business (writing on the side) but hopefully someday she can become a full-time writer.
