About the Book

"The Story of Wanton Desire" is a tale about a little penguin growing up in a research facility in the North Pole, who loves champagne, music and a human ballet dancer named Maria.

About the Author

Eydi Caines-Floyd grew up in Newfoundland, making costumes for paper dolls. She’s been drawing since the age of two. She studied Fine Art for five years at the College of Art in Halifax before moving to England to study costume design at the University of London , where she became a member of the London Costume Society in 1971. She spent four years traveling throughout England, Europe and the South Pacific, researching, designing and painting. Eydi returned to Canada in 1975 and, as well as being a prolific artist, is also a successful costume designer for film and television.
